As Director, Community Concept Lead for the International WELL Building Institute, Dr. Angelita Scott spearheaded the creation and launch of the WELL Equity Rating — a third-party verified, evidence-based global tool to help organizations assess and improve equity in environments. Responsibilities included establishing the rating and feature guidelines, conducting a comprehensive literature review, performing evidence-based feature selection and creation, developing a summative assessment tool to support feature selection and assess readiness, co-facilitating global executive roundtables, building a global network of leaders. The rating enables organizations to measure their commitment to equity and inclusive design with qualitative and quantitative benchmarks.
